Roast chicken

First butcher and clean a chicken, then put the chicken in a roasting pan. 
Put about a cup, cup and a half (I do not measure) butter into a bowl, mix some rosemary and lemon zest into the butter, now add some salt and pepper to butter. Smear all over chicken. I used my hands but if you are squeamish I suppose you could use a spatula or just suck it up cupcake, lol. Add a jar of chicken broth. If you do not have your own broth I think it equals almost 2 cups. Or you could just put some broth in a pint sized mason jar to measure it. Squeeze 1 or 2 lemons onto chicken if you like a more lemony taste. Put chicken into a pre heated 425 degree oven without lid and cook for about an hour and a half basting frequently. Mmmmmmmmmm......
