Here I go again!

I know I have said this before and anyone who still follows me is probably rolling their eyes thinking "yeah, we have heard this one before" and I will be the first to admit that I have a bad habit of starting things with very good intentions and then not following through. But with that said, one of these times it may actually stick and I will actually follow through and begin something and keep at it. I am once again trying to do a real food challenge, this time I am keeping it smaller and doing a 30 day challenge. I am in the process of deciding what all will be included in the challenge. We are unable to grow 100% of our own food so I will have to buy some things, plus I will have to decide if I will be strict on the occasions that I am at someone else's home where I will not have control of the food offered. I do not want to offend anyone. Lastly I need to decide when to begin, do I begin right now or do I wait until January 2. Lots of decisions to make but hoping and praying that I do not wimp out this time and I follow through and make this a permament way of eating for myself and hopefully Doug also. I will also have to break the news to my grandkids that mimi's house may no longer have some of the sweet treats they expect. 

Christmas!

I hope everyone has had a nice Christmas. When I did the children's message at church today I mentioned how awesome it is to get presents while celebrating someone else's birthday. To me Jesus was the best gift ever and the true gift to celebrate. 

We didnt focus as much on buying lots of gifts for people this year and in my opinion in ended up being one of my better Christmas's. I enjoyed spending time with family and not feeling as rushed and stressed as I have in year's past. We spent time with our families and enjoyed each other's company and to me that made it extra special.

I am hoping to have more posts and fun to share with you before the end of this year and will be sharing our high's and low's with you in 2022. Praying it is an improvement over the last couple years. God bless and stay safe.
